Staff Accountant II

Company located in West County is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant II to work full time at the office location.  The ideal candidate for this position must possess a 4-year accounting degree or 2+ years' experience in general ledger accounting work. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position in a rapidly growing and changing environment. This individual must be detail-oriented, very organized, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Process overhead invoices and ensure all recurring invoices are recorded prior to period closing
• Process corporate expense reports
• Run daily invoicing and sales update
• Run daily vendor EDI invoice downloads
• Update Canadian currency conversion rate
• Enter overhead wire payments in accounting system
• Run the cost adjustment capture in the accounting system
• Review and reconcile corporate credit card charges and enter payments in accounting system
• Process PO receipts and record credit card payments from Installer charges
• Run summary bill invoicing (weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly)
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts at month-end
• Maintain prepaid schedules and record monthly amortization entries
• Prepare monthly sales commissions and payments
• Prepare monthly financial statement supporting schedules

Computer Skills:

Computer experience, including working with spreadsheets, is a must. We currently operate on a PC network, utilizing the following:

• Windows
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• JD Edwards Oracle
• Crystal Reports
• Google
