Marketing Internship Position

We are located in the Westport area and seeking a Marketing Intern to handle simple creative research and administrative tasks for the company.

This is part-time working 10-20 hours per week with the Marketing Department over the school year. We are flexible on hours and can discuss schedule options that best suits the candidate.  The candidate would be a part of a team helping the company revamp the marketing strategy which is composed of three phases with the projected phase 3 completion date of September 2019. The phases include branding, content creation, implementation of the CRM package Sugar CRM and the MAS (Marketing Automation Tool) as well as implementing a web procurement platform. We are looking for a candidate who has strong marketing and martrech skills that will be crucial to all the phases. If a candidate is strong in only one of these, we would still like to hear from you as there is plenty of work. 

The candidate(s) would report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and have regular meetings with senior managers and the CEO.  Improving our marketing is currently the company's most important objective. 

Compensation would be $15 and hour. 

The Marketing Intern will assist with the following tasks:

• Understanding the varied and complex needs of the field sales team (400 people)

         representing 6 divisions and then assisting with the execution of such:

o   Expose sales partners to the various marketing tactics available

o   Assist with content creation and posting content to Social Media feeds

o   Working with the Sales Partners to create PowerPoint presentations for major sales  opportunity

o   Create emails for Divisional campaigns that are sent each week for each division

o   Administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis

o   Conduct market research for the six divisions (if time allowed)

• Website / Technical Management 
• Work with the CIO and CTO to assist sales partners with integration of internal

 websites

o   Create content for customer facing B2B webpages

o   Review and maintain links within and between sites

o   Technical Administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis

o   Write blogs for websites
