Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager and working with the E-Marketing Coordinator to complete the below tasks and for developing new and original ideas to expand our marketing efforts. The Marketing Coordinator needs to be comfortable using databases, web publishing tools, WordPress, Photoshop, InDesign, and social media platforms. The individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, show creativity and resourcefulness. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Be the main point of contact and support for our Sales force on customizing print marketing pieces, custom brochures, case studies, website support and be a secondary contact for email marketing questions.
• Work with the Marketing manager to create new marketing pieces and programs for the Sales force to utilize in their local markets.
• Work with Sales force on creating marketing websites, training them on how to update the sites, and work with selected Sales Persons to create and maintain company store ordering sites
• Assist the E-Marketing Coordinator in creating monthly e-mail marketing pieces using Mail Chimp
• Create the bi-monthly newsletter using In-Design to add in manager articles, vendor ads, vendor spotlights and other corporate created materials
• Website content creation on corporate website and other secondary sites
• Special projects including marketing collateral created for every 18 month National Sales Meeting and creating marketing materials for the Recruiting department

Social Media

• Assist Marketing Manager in creating yearly social media plans
• Manage our Corporate social media efforts including posting on our blog site, Facebook, Twitter and Linked In
• Create and post content for all social media platforms
• Generate and contribute ideas on how we can improve our social media platforms
• Create reports on social media reach and analytics
• Assist with developing and implementing social media strategy for National Sales Meetings
• Provide social media marketing training for our Sales Force
