Marketing Coordinator

The Company: We are a sales company with 380 salespeople whom we refer to as "Partners." Our Partners have extensive knowledge and expertise in one of our sales divisions (Material Handling, Commercial Interiors, Business Products, Promotional Products and Energy Solutions). The company is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and was founded in 1971. Today our divisions can fulfill almost any need a business may have. Our customers work in every industry imaginable distribution, healthcare, education, legal, engineering, manufacturing, and more.

The appeal of being a Partner is the freedom they are allowed. A Partner can sell what they want to whom they want at the price they chose. They are not managed. This freedom bears a challenge for our in-house marketing department, which does offer a marketer a lot of variety in marketing creation, channels, and people interaction.

Job Description: looking for a Marketing Coordinator with 2-5 years of experience to create and disseminate professional looking case studies, recruiting documents, flipbooks, marketing templates, webpages, email designs, mailers, and more. This position would primarily focus on content creation. Creating visually strong pieces of collateral that highlights important information and provokes a call to action for our needs.

Experience / skills required

• Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or similar related major
• Strong ability to work within the Adobe creative suite is a must, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Strong writing skills with the ability to complete case studies, white papers, blog posts, brochures, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong ability to create professional and informative infographics
• Organizational/Multi-tasking skills Ability to work on multiple projects and design elements at once, which requires good organizational skills
• Communication skills Ability to deliver simple, memorable messages through your designs
• Attention to detail High attention to detail to integrate many different messages and elements into your design pieces, especially concepts that can be grasped with a quick glance

Experience / skills preferred (but not required)

• Basic knowledge of SEO practices
• Experience with email marketing
• Experience with WordPress (Elementor)
• Experience with Video Production (PremierPro, etc)

Job Duties:

Content Creation Specifics: We are focused on growing the top of the sales funnel. As such, a key component of this position will be to increase our brand awareness. This requires high-quality marketing content to draw people towards our site. We will also use these materials for sales enablement with our Partners. We'll have a strong focus on case studies, blogs, and white papers while also creating powerful visuals to enhance the messaging.

• Creating templates on free websites or PDFs that the Partners will be able to update
• Reaching out to Partners to gather information for possible case studies
• Updating the look and feel of our emails that are created in our Marketing Automation Tool (SugarMarket)
• Speaking with other stakeholders (VP of Recruiting, President, etc.) to gather input to update current collateral
• Updating and adding website pages

The right person will ultimately be responsible for the creation and management of all content, including website, white papers, blogs, presentations, flipbooks, ads, etc.

Partner Point of Contact: This person would be the Partner's main marketing POC. As such, it is important that this person has and displays:

• Communication skills: mainly the with people of all adult ages and tech skills. Every Partner has a different background, and this person will need to be able to listen and understand each Partner's marketing needs
• Patience: Although very skilled in their field of expertise, many of our Partners are not computer savvy and do not understand how to navigate the intranet, add contacts to the email program, etc.
