E-Marketing Coordinator

Westport area sales company is looking for a full time E-Marketing Coordinator. The E-Marketing Coordinator requires 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience and will be primarily responsible for the research and creation of the company's outbound email marketing, day to day administration of a customer email database and email distribution tool.  This position will work with the company's sales force and manufacturers to develop new e-marketing strategies, track the results, and report to the Marketing Manager. The E-Marketing Coordinator will also assist the Marketing Coordinator on website development, social media projects and marketing pieces for the company's recruiting and vendor relations departments.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism or other related major, and the ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in one of those fields. We are looking for a candidate that has a writing background and will be comfortable doing research into several industries to develop the subject and verbiage of 4-5 new marketing pieces a week. Prior experience using databases, creating email marketing, using web publishing tools, WordPress and social media platforms is ideal but not mandatory.  The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, show creativity and have an aptitude for learning quickly.   Competitive salary and benefits include dental, vision, disability, life and 401(k).
