Cash Application / Credit Card Specialist

We are looking for a Cash App/Credit Card Specialist to work in our corporate office located in the Westport area.  The ideal candidate for this position must possess 2+ years' experience in general ledger accounting work. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position in a rapidly growing and changing environment. This individual must be detail-oriented, very organized, and possess strong communication skills. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

Position Responsibilities:

• Access Lockbox for online check copies
• Code and enter checks from bank deposits into accounting system
• Research "problem checks" to determine application
• Reconcile bank deposit totals to batches
• Run various Crystal Reports (Credit Cards, Missing Fax/Email, Allied Pre-Payments, Credit Memos)
• Run PayPal reports on all four merchant accounts and provide backup data
• Work delayed capture exceptions from report
• Enter manual CC transactions into PayPal for statement payments or other non-SO related payments
• Ensure all CC fee lines are on orders paid by credit card
• Respond to customer requests for invoice copies/statements/credit card receipts
• Process charge backs and disputed transactions
• Approve and release all first-time credit card orders
• Complete special finance projects as requested

Computer Skills:

Computer experience, including working with spreadsheets, is a must. We currently operate on a PC network, utilizing the following:

• Windows
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• JD Edwards Oracle
• Crystal Reports
